I just recently returned from an exotic island. I was flying to see my aunt alone for the first time. I'm not sure why my mother sent me alone, but she said it was for the best. It was a fun trip with my choir boys until we crashed on a deserted island. At first some loser blew some type of horn called a conch and got voted leader. Since I was not voted leader, I remained leader of my choir. Seeing as how a choir isn't useful on the island, we became hunters. My boys and I were no longer called choir boys, instead we went by the title hunters.
The First Week
Ralph was leader, and I wasn't happy with it. I agreed with the rules at first, because we are British boys after all. It was all great at first; we just wanted to hunt and have fun, but with a little responsibility. He had all my hunters take turns keeping up the fire, so we didn't have enough people to hunt. We took it well at first, but it was annoying how Ralph and his fat friend never helped with the fire so the hunters and I could hunt. But noo Piggy ( the name we gave to the portly boy ) couldn't work, he has "ass- mar". He also couldn't hand over his stupid specs to light the fire fast enough. He is probably the slowest and most useless boy on this island! Ralph and I started off as good friends despite that he got chief and I didn't. But we were starting to not see eye to eye.
The Second Week
The second week was better. We still had to watch the dumb fire every day and night... But my hunters and I haven't caught any pigs yet. So, one night we got fed up with it. The next morning we took a stand. Who cares about the "oh so important" fire? Not us! We left our duties at the fire and followed the pig trail. It was such a rush! We saw the pig poop and knew we were getting close. We kept creeping forward ever so close, and finally we caught sight of one. We slowly spread out around it. I signaled our attack by doing a complicated pointing pattern. I would tell you, but its top secret and you probably don't have clearance unless you're a hunter. Then again, you're probably just one of the littluns. Anyway, it was amazing; we all attacked at the same time stabbing the pig several times; sometimes stabbing our spears into its flank, sometimes just lancing the beast as it ran off. The pig squealed a terrible noise which only energized us more. We followed the blood trail until we lost it. We searched for the swine for hours and hours on end. After awhile we just gave up and went back to the camp. And guess what? Ralph was furious with us despite the fact we almost caught the sow. He kept claiming that the fire went out and during that time a ship went by. I think we was just lying to make me look bad! After that we didn't get along much, because all he cared about was the fire and keeping his position as chief.
The Third Week
Something was on the island. We weren't sure what it was... some sort of beast? It was scary, but my hunters and I were NOT scared. We were just going to hunt some pigs instead of worrying about the stupid beast. So we dawned on some war paint, and we grabbed our spears. I was absolutely determined to catch one this time. We caught sight of the pig trail, and I made everyone slow down, so that we wouldn't be seen by any passing pigs. My boys probably got annoyed at the speed we were creeping forward, but I didn't want to risk being seen. After about another hour of creeping along the trail, we caught sight of the sow with her piglets. I motioned my complicated pointing pattern to my boys. We surrounded the milking sow and her piglets. We knew she was too distracted milking her piggies, but we still slowly crept around to surround her. Energized, I again signaled to complicated pointing pattern to motion our attack. We sprinted faster than anyone I've ever seen. Terrified, the piglets squealed and ran, but we let them go; we weren't after them. The mother pig was frozen in fear. It just added to our frenzy. We were determined! Once we were about 5 yards from the sow, she began to flail. We began stabbing her with our spears which felt more like heavy swords with a very noble weight. She was thrashing and fighting back. But I quickly slit her throat, and her head hit the ground. My adrenaline was pumping, and I loved every second of it. We staked the head of the pig on a spear and stuck it in the ground as an offering to the beast, so that we could remain on its good side.
We proudly carried the rest of the pig back to our new camp and called all the boys. It was so awesome; they were so excited about the meat. Even Ralph was excited about the meat. We tried to put it over the fire, but it didn't work very well so we just took parts of the pig and roasted smaller bits. It was so great! We started a cool chant. It went something like "Kill the pig. Slit her throat. Spill the blood." We started making a circle and kept walking in our circle chanting. I'm not really sure why we did it, but it was so great. I guess we just kinda got caught up in the moment. But at one point, someone got in the middle of our circle and acted like the pig. We reenacted how I killed the pig. People kept switching in and out of the circle. Each time we pretended like they were the pig without hurting them of course. Then, what we thought was the beast came stumbling out of the forest, and we circled it. We were maybe a little scared. But I wasn't that much, I wasn't really scared at all. The littluns were though, so of course we treated it like the pig and started attacking in our circle! We didn't have our spears, so we had to use our hands and teeth. We killed the beast rather quickly. We never figured out what it was... But Simon did go missing the next day, so of course Piggy and Ralph who must have left before then, proclaimed that we had killed Simon. We didn't kill Simon. It was NOT Simon in the middle of our circle; it was some sort of beast.
The Fourth Week
We still weren’t exactly sure what happened to Simon. Of course, Ralph tried to blame us for killing Simon, but he wasn’t even there. Ralph was just jealous everyone came to my side to have fun. No one wants to be with him except that too-smart “ass-mar” Piggy. He’s not even that smart! I’ll set all the rules for our new clan. The main thing is hunting; we always hunt and catch pigs. A few days ago, we had explored the mountain, because it was the one place we hadn't searched. We found this cool hill with a huge rock on it. Well thats where we decided to set up our new camp once we ditched Ralph. It was great we loved our new spot! Well, we thought that we deserved Piggy's specs. We had a better clan than Ralph, and we needed fire to roast the pigs we'd caught. All he had now was SamnEric and Piggy. He just loves Piggy. Ralph, SamnEric, and Piggy decided to come take the specs back. Four against me and my hunters. I don't think so! Well chaos ensued. Ralph and Piggy tried to confront me on the way my hunters and I had been running things. We fought a little, of course I dominated. He was getting tired and injured. SamnEric were surrounded by my boys. My right hand man Roger was manning the boulder of death. The boulder of death was guarding our entrance, so they couldn't get in our castle. Something must have happened up there because the boulder fell, and it hit Piggy. He rolled off the hill and into the ocean. He didn't survive, but the only person that cared was Ralph. We managed to get SamnEric on our side. As a group, we all voted that Ralph was not allowed on our island anymore, and he needed to die. We had already lost Piggy and Simon, what's one more?
The Last Day
Ralph was a no- show. We couldn't find him... So we decided to walk in a line all the way across the island searching for him, so that we could find him. We decided to push boulders into the forest in hopes it might crush him. After making our arms sore, we thought it best to smoke him. So we set the forest on fire, we ran into the forest searching for him, keeping our line formation. We didn't search long until one of the boys I didn't know the name of was stabbed by Ralph. We sprinted to him and forgot about our line formation. We were close! He had to die. We kept wandering around that spot searching for him. Another boy finally found him hiding in the creepers. Ralph stabbed him with his spear and took off to the beach. We all saw this and ran as fast as possible to catch up to him and end his life. Once we were on the beach, we stopped and saw that he was too. A naval officer was standing on my island. You might ask, why was he on my island? He saw our fire. He was there to rescue us. At first, I was at a loss for words. I just took over reign of my island; I didn't get a chance to enjoy it yet. But he took us home to Britain and after about two nights, I was finally reunited with my family.
